Definition
Chroma Blooks are visually distinct, animated, and the rarest pulls obtainable from the Market. Per-pack drop rates are typically 0.01% to 0.08%, with most Chromas hovering around 0.02%–0.05%.
Not every pack contains a Chroma, Medieval, Wonderland, and Bot do not. Safari, Space, Aquatic, Pirate, Outback, Bug, Lunch, and Ice Monster all do.
Per-pack drop rates
A few notable Chromas and their drop rates:
- Rainbow Panda (Safari), 0.02%, the iconic chase, ~3,500 packs to 50%.
- Ice Slime (Ice Monster), 0.08%, currently the most common Chroma in the game.
- Pirate Pufferfish (Pirate), 0.03%.
- Teal Platypus (Outback), 0.03%.
- Blue Butterfly (Bug), 0.03%.
- Half a Sandwich (Lunch), 0.04%.
- Ice Crab (Ice Monster), 0.02%, rarest Chroma in the Ice Monster pack.
Best pack for Chroma odds
Per pack opened, the Ice Monster Pack has the best combined Chroma odds in the game, its three Chromas (Ice Slime, Frozen Fossil, Ice Crab) sum to 0.15% per pack, roughly 5× any other pack's Chroma rate. If you don't care which specific Chroma you pull, that's the best per-token rate.
If you want one specific Chroma, the math depends on its individual rate, not the pack's combined rate. A 0.02% Chroma takes ~3,500 packs to 50% no matter how many other Chromas share the pack.
Three categories of Chroma
Not every Chroma is obtained the same way. The community-wide grouping splits Chromas into three buckets that have very different math:
Pack Chromas (~9 currently obtainable) drop at 0.02%–0.08% from specific Market packs. These are the standard chase Chromas, Rainbow Panda, Ice Slime, Pirate Pufferfish, Teal Platypus, Blue Butterfly, Half a Sandwich, Frozen Fossil, Red Astronaut, and Ice Crab. Plus the six rotating Colored Astronauts (Black, Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, Yellow) that share Red's 0.05% slot on alternate weekdays.
Event Chromas (~5+ obtainable) are awarded to leaderboard winners of in-game contests, no drop rate, no pack. Spooky Mummy, Tropical Globe, Agent Owl, Cyan Astronaut, and Lime Astronaut all live in this bucket. They have no chase math; you either won the event or you didn't.
Seasonal 100%-Chromas (3 active) drop guaranteed from threshold-priced seasonal packs (Lovely, Lucky, Spring). 2,000 tokens per Chroma, roughly 4-day window, 100% drop. Mathematically these are token sinks, not chases, the only "risk" is whether you'll have enough tokens during the window.
Chroma sell values
Chromas have the widest resell range of any tier. The cheapest Chromas (Ice Slime at 700–1,200, Frozen Fossil at 900–1,500) sell at the floor of the tier; mid-tier Chromas (Pirate Pufferfish, Teal Platypus, Blue Butterfly) sell for 1,000–2,000 tokens; and the rarest (Rainbow Panda) sells for 3,500–6,000 tokens.
The ratio of resell to chase cost is the key economic question. Rainbow Panda's chase costs ~70,000 tokens at the 50% threshold (3,500 packs × 20 tokens) but resells for at most 6,000, so chasing purely for resell ROI is always negative. Chromas are display chases, not income chases. The Common / Uncommon / Rare / Epic Blooks you pull along the way provide the actual resell offset.
Common misconceptions
"Chroma means rarest." Not always. Ice Slime is a Chroma at 0.08%, more common than every standard Legendary except King. The Chroma label is for the animated visual frame, not for the drop rate.
"You're guaranteed a Chroma after enough packs." Only in seasonal 100% packs. Market Chromas have no pity timer, no cumulative discount, no guaranteed pull. Every opening rolls fresh against the published rate.
"Higher pack price = better Chroma odds." False as a rule. Safari is 20 tokens with a 0.02% Chroma. Ice Monster is 25 tokens with a 0.15% combined Chroma. The relationship is per-pack, not per-token, you have to do the math separately.
Frequently asked questions
What is the rarest Chroma Blook in Blooket?
Rainbow Panda and Ice Crab tie for the rarest currently-pack-obtainable Chroma at 0.02%. Tropical Globe was tied at 0.02% but is no longer in any pack, only obtainable through a retired contest.
What pack has the best Chroma odds?
Ice Monster Pack has 0.15% combined Chroma rate (Ice Slime 0.08% + Frozen Fossil 0.05% + Ice Crab 0.02%), roughly 5× any other pack's Chroma rate per opening.
How much do Chroma Blooks sell for?
Pack Chromas sell for 700–6,000 tokens. The cheapest are Ice Slime and Frozen Fossil; the most valuable is Rainbow Panda at 3,500–6,000.
Are seasonal Chromas the same as pack Chromas?
No. Lovely / Lucky / Spring packs guarantee a Chroma drop after a 2,000-token threshold, structurally different from Market packs where each opening rolls independently against drop rates.
Can you guarantee a Chroma in Blooket?
Only through the seasonal 100%-guaranteed packs. Every Market Chroma chase is probabilistic, no pity timer, no guaranteed pull.
Can you trade Chroma Blooks?
No. Blooket has no peer-to-peer trading at any tier, including Chromas.

Cumulative probability is your chance of pulling a target Blook **at least once** across N packs. Use the formula `1 − (1 − p)^N`, never just multiply.
