Three numbers to track

Gross, rebate, net, in that order.

  1. 1
    Gross spend

Tokens × packs. The sticker price. What the in-game screen shows, and where most players stop calculating.

  2. 2
    Resell rebate

Expected sell value of duplicates across the full drop table, weighted by rarity probability. Higher on packs dense with Epics; lower on packs heavy with Uncommons.

  3. 3
    Net cost

Gross minus rebate. This is what your chase budget actually needs to cover. Pack-by-pack ROI diverges meaningfully here.

How pack ROI works

Resell math rewards volume, not luck.

Every pack opening is an independent random draw. The gross cost is fixed: 20 for Safari, Space, Wonderland, Medieval, Bot, and Breakfast; 25 for Aquatic, Dino, Lunch, Pirate, Outback, Bug, Ice Monster, and the seasonal packs. The resell rebate depends on which rarity you pull and whether it's a duplicate.

Sell values by rarity (community-reported ranges): Common 1–3 , Uncommon 3–8 , Rare 8–15 , Epic 25–40 , Legendary 60–150 (Mega Bot up to ~2,200; King of Hearts ~400–1,500), Chroma 500–2,000+ . These ranges are why packs with higher Epic rates, like Aquatic at 6% or Breakfast at 7%, generate meaningfully better average rebates than Uncommon-heavy packs like Bot (78% Uncommon, sell value 3–8).

A single pack can resell for 2 tokens or 2,000. Across 100+ opens, variance flattens and your actual return tracks the expected average. Plan your chase budgets on the expected rebate per pack, but don't be surprised by short-run variance, it's math-normal, not bad luck. See the full resell strategy guide for when to sell, when to hold, and which Blooks have the widest trade premium above their sell-value floor.
