Megalodon Chase Calculator
Megalodon is the rarer of Aquatic Pack's two Legendaries (Baby Shark sits at 0.5%; Megalodon at 0.2%). At 25 tokens per pack, the budget math gets steep fast, ~347 packs to 50%, or about 8,675 tokens. The aesthetic is why most players chase it; the rarity is why most players quit halfway.

Aquatic Pack · 0.20% drop rate
500 packs ≈ 12,500 tokens.
Every threshold above runs the same cumulative-probability formula covered in drop rates explained, the canonical math piece for the blooket calculator. Megalodon is one of every Legendary in the game, and you can compare its trade value against the rest of the chase pool in the blook value guide.
What does each budget actually buy you?
Cumulative probability rises fast at low pack counts and flattens out. Each row costs more for less additional chance.

Context for the chase
- Aquatic Pack costs 25 tokens, not 20, every chase calc that assumes 20 underestimates the budget by 25%.
- Megalodon and Baby Shark share the Legendary tier, so any Legendary pull has a ~28.6% chance of being Megalodon (0.2 / 0.7).
- ~1,151 packs to 90% means even the 'committed grinder' bracket is a multi-month project at the daily cap.
The story behind Megalodon
Megalodon is a Legendary blook from the 25-token Aquatic Pack with a 0.2% drop rate, the rarest Legendary in Blooket by drop rate. According to the Blooket Wiki, Megalodon is inspired by the films The Meg and Jaws. The wiki also notes that the blook features 9 teeth, while the real prehistoric megalodon shark could have more than 276 teeth. Its Blook Score is 35, matching all other Legendaries, but it sells for 250 tokens in-game rather than the standard 200 tokens, the only Legendary with an elevated sell price, reflecting its exceptional rarity.
In Fishing Frenzy, Megalodon holds the 'Catch of the Day' rarity and can be found in S, A, or B tier with a 6% hook chance. Its weight ranges from 250,000 to 500,000 lbs, the only 'Catch of the Day' blook to exceed 100,000 lbs. Megalodon can also appear as a distraction blook when a distraction card is drawn, causing multiple Megalodons to swing side to side on screen. It also appears as a customer in Café. Its team name in Blook Rush and Battle Royale is 'Megan's the Name.'
The Aquatic Pack holds two Legendaries: Megalodon at 0.2% and Baby Shark at 0.5%, with the total Legendary tier at 0.7%. Any Legendary pull from the pack has about a 28.6% chance of being Megalodon and a 71.4% chance of being Baby Shark. The pack costs 25 tokens per opening, which is 25% more expensive than most 20-token packs, a cost difference that compounds significantly across hundreds of openings.
How to budget your Megalodon chase
Megalodon's 0.2% rate means approximately 347 packs (8,675 tokens) to reach a 50% cumulative chance, and about 1,151 packs (28,775 tokens) for 90%. The 25-token pack cost makes this meaningfully more expensive than an equivalent 20-token chase, the same number of packs costs 25% more. At the ~547 daily token average (500 gameplay cap plus ~47 wheel), you are looking at about 16 days to reach the 50% threshold and 53 days for 90%, assuming you spend all tokens on Aquatic packs. The practical advice is to use Classic or Tower Defense 2 for token earning (both earn 2 tokens per question), spin the Daily Wheel every day without fail, and be prepared for the genuine possibility that Baby Shark fills your Legendary slot before Megalodon does, roughly 7 out of 10 Legendary pulls in this pack will not be Megalodon.
Megalodon commands 800–1,400 tokens in community trades, significantly above the standard Legendary range (60–150 tokens) and reflecting its status as the hardest Legendary to obtain in the game. The 25-token pack cost and 0.2% rate combine to make it genuinely difficult to accumulate, which keeps secondary market supply limited and prices elevated. In comparison, King of Hearts at 0.3% but 20 tokens per pack is slightly easier to obtain on a tokens-per-chance basis, so Megalodon's higher price is justified. Sellers should not list below 800 tokens; historically patient listings at 1,200–1,400 tokens do move when demand is active.
