Tropical Globe Chase Calculator

Tropical Globe was the original Blizzard Pack's iconic Chroma at 0.02%, the snow-globe-with-a-palm-tree gag that defined Blooket's first holiday season. The 2020 and 2021 Blizzard Packs are both retired, so the math here is historical: it tells you what the chase looked like, not what to budget for today. If Blooket reruns the Blizzard Pack, the math still applies.

Heads up: this pack is retired. The Blizzard Packhasn’t been in rotation since 2021. The math below is the historical rate, useful if Blooket reruns the pack but not actionable today.

What does each budget actually buy you?

Cumulative probability rises fast at low pack counts and flattens out. Each row costs more for less additional chance.

Context for the chase

  • The Blizzard Pack was rotated out and replaced by newer winter packs, Tropical Globe has not been pullable since the 2021 holiday window closed.
  • Drop rate matches Rainbow Panda's 0.02%, but Blizzard Pack cost 25 tokens, so the same chance cost 25% more tokens.
  • Limited supply plus retired status pushes Tropical Globe trade value well above its original Chroma peers.

The story behind Tropical Globe

Tropical Globe is a Chroma blook from the retired 2020 and 2021 Blizzard Pack, with a drop rate of 0.02%. It is a reskin of the Snow Globe blook, the difference is that the Snow Globe features a pine tree while the Tropical Globe features a coconut tree, and the two have distinctly different color themes. According to the Blooket Wiki, Tropical Globe is the only Snow Globe reskin with a base blue coloring. Its Blook Score is 50 like all Chromas, and its in-game sell price is 300 tokens. It appears as a customer in Café.

The Blooket Wiki confirms that Tropical Globe was the Chroma in both the 2020 and 2021 Blizzard Packs, appearing alongside Frost Wreath in the Chroma slot. It is listed as currently unobtainable and categorized as Limited Time and Unobtainable. Each subsequent Blizzard Pack season has introduced new Chromas while retiring the previous year's, the wiki's notes section for the Blizzard Pack lists Tropical Globe among 12 retired Chromas spanning 2020–2022. Its team name in Blook Rush and Battle Royale was 'Warm Hugs,' which the wiki notes is shared (in slightly different capitalization) with Elf Sweater Snowman.

At the time Tropical Globe was live, it and Rainbow Panda shared the same 0.02% drop rate, making them tied for the joint-rarest blooks obtainable from a pack. However, Blizzard Pack cost 25 tokens while Safari Pack cost 20, meaning Tropical Globe was 25% more expensive per chance than Rainbow Panda for the same probability. That cost difference is now historically locked in. The retired status since 2021 means the total supply of Tropical Globes is fixed and will only decrease if existing holders sell in-game or trade, which explains why it commands the highest trade floor among all non-Mystical blooks.

Trade & resell

What Tropical Globe is worth on the market

Tropical Globe is the most valuable non-Mystical blook in the community market, trading between 4,500 and 8,000 tokens. The elevated value has two drivers: the same 0.02% rate as Rainbow Panda, and the supply cap imposed by retirement since 2021. No new Tropical Globes have been obtainable since the 2021 Blizzard Pack window closed. Supply only shrinks over time as some accounts become inactive or sell. If Blooket reruns the 2021-era Blizzard Pack in a future event, the secondary market value would likely drop temporarily. For buyers, confirm the seller has legitimate trade history before committing 5,000+ tokens. For sellers, patience rewards, 7,000+ token bids do appear for this blook among serious collectors.
