Red Astronaut Chase Calculator
Red Astronaut is the Space Pack's signature Chroma, one of seven Colored Astronaut variants that rotate by weekday. Each one is a 0.05% drop, and only the day's active color is in the pool, so timing the chase matters as much as the math. ~1,386 packs gets you to a 50% chance on any single color.

Space Pack · 0.05% drop rate
500 packs ≈ 10,000 tokens.
Every threshold above runs the same cumulative-probability formula covered in drop rates explained, the canonical math piece for the blooket calculator. Red Astronaut is one of every Chroma in the game, and you can compare its trade value against the rest of the chase pool in the blook value guide.
What does each budget actually buy you?
Cumulative probability rises fast at low pack counts and flattens out. Each row costs more for less additional chance.

Context for the chase
- Red Astronaut is available only on Fridays; the rotation resets at 6:00 PM ET each day.
- All seven Colored Astronauts share the same 0.05% rate, so 'easiest astronaut' really means 'whichever color is active today.'
- Combined Astronaut Chroma rate is 0.35% per pack, but you only ever pull the day's color, never a different one.
The story behind Red Astronaut
Red Astronaut is a Chroma blook exclusively from the 20-token Space Pack, available only on Fridays. The Blooket Wiki confirms each Colored Astronaut has a 0.05% drop rate and that the rotation resets daily at 6:00 PM Eastern Time. The Space Pack contains seven Colored Astronaut Chromas total: Pink (Monday), Yellow (Tuesday), Black (Wednesday), Orange (Thursday), Red (Friday), Brown (Saturday), and Green (Sunday). On any given day, only that day's Astronaut color is in the drop pool, you cannot pull Red Astronaut on a Thursday any more than you could on a random roll.
Visually, Red Astronaut is a Chroma reskin of the base Astronaut blook, a Legendary also found in the Space Pack at 0.45%. The main difference is the suit color and eyebrow styling. Its team name in Blook Rush and Battle Royale was originally 'Red Kinda Sus,' a reference to the hit 2020 game Among Us, but it was later changed to 'Red Crewmates,' reportedly due to copyright considerations. It features in Fishing Frenzy at the 'Angler's Legend' tier with a 0.1% catch chance, a minimum weight of 1,000,000 lbs, and a maximum of 2,000,000 lbs. It also appears as a customer in Café.
The Space Pack is the only permanent full-time pack where the Chroma rotates daily. According to the wiki, the pack holds the most Chromas of any single pack at seven. Because Red Astronaut is only available Fridays, a dedicated Red chase means concentrating your weekly token spend into one day, or accumulating tokens through the week and opening packs on Friday. The 24-hour window (6:00 PM Thursday ET to 6:00 PM Friday ET) defines your entire chase window for the week.
How to budget your Red Astronaut chase
Red Astronaut sits at 0.05% (1 in 2,000 packs), with a 50% cumulative threshold of approximately 1,386 packs. At 20 tokens each that is 27,720 tokens, about 51 days of hitting the gameplay cap and spinning the wheel daily. The key difference from other chases is the day restriction: you can only open Space Packs for Red Astronaut on Fridays (6:00 PM Thursday ET through 6:00 PM Friday ET). If you open Space Packs on other days, you are pulling a different Astronaut color, your tokens are not wasted on off days if you want a different Astronaut, but they are wasted for Red specifically. A disciplined strategy is to bank tokens Monday through Thursday using Classic or Tower Defense 2 (both 2 tokens/question), then open packs on Friday. Note the Space Pack also has the Astronaut Legendary at 0.45%, so you have a reasonable secondary chance at a high-value pull on any day you open.
Red Astronaut trades between 600 and 1,100 tokens in the community market, placing it in the mid-tier Chroma range. All seven Colored Astronauts trade at similar values because they share the same 0.05% rate, the only price variation comes from popularity (Red and Black tend to attract higher bids than Brown or Yellow) and from the supply constraint of a one-day weekly window. If you land a Red Astronaut and want to sell, 600–700 tokens is a reliable floor; patient sellers can achieve 900–1,100 tokens when demand aligns. Compared to Rainbow Panda and Tropical Globe at 0.02%, Red Astronaut is roughly 2.5x more common, which is why it trades lower despite being a Chroma.
