The short version
We do not collect personal information from any visitor. No names, no emails (unless you choose to write to us), no ages, no classroom IDs, no Blooket account data. There is no sign-up on this site and there will not be.
What we collect (and what we do not)
- Server logs.When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider's servers automatically record the URL, timestamp, IP address, and browser user-agent string. Logs are retained for up to 30 days for operational purposes (detecting outages, blocking abusive traffic) and then deleted.
- Calculator inputs. Nothing you type into any calculator on this site is sent to us or stored anywhere. All math runs locally in your browser. Closing the tab discards it.
- Cookies. A small number of functional cookies may store UI preferences (e.g., dark mode if enabled). Google Analytics sets its own cookies (see below). No marketing or tracking cookies are set by us directly.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4, measurement ID G-95D3WQQE4B). GA4 collects anonymised aggregate usage data: pages visited, session counts, approximate country, and browser/device type. It does not collect names, emails, or Blooket account information from this site.
GA4 is initialised after the initial page render (afterInteractive strategy). Google processes this data under their own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. If you want to opt out of GA4 tracking across the web, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
What we do not collect
- Your name, age, email, or school affiliation.
- Your Blooket username, account ID, or in-game balance.
- Precise location data: GA4 may infer approximate country from IP, which is used for aggregate reporting only and not stored in a way tied to an individual.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Blooket is widely used by players under 13. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, we do not collect it from children. This site is designed to be safe for all ages. We comply in practice with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar frameworks (EU GDPR-K). If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have received data about a child in your care, contact us and we will address it immediately.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal database, there is typically nothing to request, correct, or delete. If you want to confirm whether anything is tied to you specifically, email hello@blooketcalc.us and we will confirm in writing within a reasonable time.
Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Server logs are stored on the hosting provider's infrastructure with standard access controls. We hold so little data that the practical risk of a meaningful breach is low, but no system is perfectly secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, post a short notice on the homepage before they take effect.
