About Bug Pack

Bug Pack launched on March 5, 2025 as an unannounced addition to the game, it appeared in the shop without prior community notice, making it one of the more quietly released packs. Its insect theme features four Uncommons (Ladybug, Grasshopper, Dragonfly, Caterpillar), two Rares (Bee and Firefly), one Epic (Stag Beetle), one Legendary (Butterfly), and one Chroma (Blue Butterfly).

Bug Pack holds the distinction of having the highest Uncommon-per-slot rate in the market: each of its four Uncommons sits at 19.625%, summing to 78.5%, the highest combined Uncommon rate among all permanent packs. This concentrates more probability weight in the Uncommon tier than any other pack, which affects the average expected value per opening.

Blue Butterfly at 0.03% is the pack's sole Chroma, and Butterfly at 0.5% is the Legendary. The Legendary rate at 0.5% matches Safari's Lion, a reasonable rate for a 25-token pack, and notably better than Pirate or Dino at 0.3%.

Bug Pack's March 2025 unannounced launch is notable in Blooket history as one of the few permanent market packs to appear without any community teaser. Its quietly dropped status means early community pricing for Butterfly and Blue Butterfly was set without the pre-hype that inflates launch-day values for announced packs. Since its release, Bug Pack has settled into the standard 25-token meta. The insect theme is broadly appealing, ladybugs, dragonflies, and butterflies are universally recognised, and the pack has accumulated a solid player base in under a year of availability. Butterfly Legendary is now well-represented in the community economy given the 0.5% rate across thousands of daily openers.

Strategy

How to chase this pack

Butterfly at 0.5% puts the 50% threshold at about 138 packs (3,450 tokens), one of the better Legendary return rates for a 25-token pack. Blue Butterfly at 0.03% requires roughly 2,310 packs (57,750 tokens) to reach 50%, consistent with other 0.03% Chromas like Pirate Pufferfish and Teal Platypus. Bug Pack is a solid choice if you want a 0.5% Legendary at the 25-token price point, and a long grind if you want the Chroma.
