Definition
Tokens are the universal in-game currency in Blooket. Every Blook you don't already own and every Pack in the Market is priced in tokens. There is one token economy across the whole game, modes don't have separate currencies (with one exception: gold in Gold Quest converts at the end of the round).
Token prices for Market packs currently range from 20 tokens (Safari, Space, Wonderland, Medieval, Bot, Breakfast) to 25 tokens (Aquatic, Dino, Lunch, Pirate, Outback, Bug, Ice Monster).
How to earn tokens
There are three reliable income paths plus a few less-reliable ones. The big drivers:
- Playing game modes, every mode awards tokens at end-of-round, scaled by performance. Tower Defense 2 is the AFK champion; Cafe and Factory are strong active grinds.
- Daily Wheel, one free spin per day. Average payout sits around 47 tokens (1% jackpot at 1,000 tokens, weighted across the smaller slices). Wheel earnings are excluded from the gameplay cap, so they are pure upside.
- Selling Blooks, Blooks you don't want sell for a fixed token value based on rarity. Common 1, Uncommon 2, Rare 5, Epic 12, Legendary 50, Chroma 300, Mystical 1,000. Sell value is fixed in-game and ignores community trade values.
- 500-Token Daily Gameplay Cap, total tokens earned across all game modes are capped at 500 per day, resetting at local midnight. Hitting the cap stops further token earning from gameplay until reset; the Daily Wheel still pays on top of the cap.
How to spend tokens efficiently
The Market is the only sink that matters. Pack pricing is uniform across the day, there are no token sales, so the only optimization is picking the right pack for what you want.
Cheapest token-per-Legendary: Medieval at 20 tokens with a 1% Legendary rate. Cheapest token-per-Chroma combined: Ice Monster at 25 tokens with a 0.15% combined Chroma rate. ROI-only (no rare chase, just resell math): Breakfast.
The 500-token daily gameplay cap
Blooket caps token earnings from gameplay at 500 tokens per day, summed across every game mode you play, and resets at local midnight. Once you hit 500, gameplay stops paying tokens (XP still accrues toward its own daily cap) until the next reset. Switching modes does not give you another bucket, the cap is global.
Practical impact: at 2 tokens per question (Classic, Tower Defense 2, Cafe, Factory post-rework), the cap is roughly 250 questions of efficient play. Most players clear it in 30–45 minutes. Lower-paying modes like Crypto Hack (0.75 tk/q) take meaningfully longer for the same 500 tokens, so mode choice matters for time, not for the daily ceiling.
The Daily Wheel sits outside the cap. One spin per day, ~47 tokens expected value, free upside even on a fully-capped day. That is the highest-leverage 5 seconds in the game and the reason missing a wheel spin actually hurts: each missed spin is ~47 tokens of expected loss, with no way to recover them.
There is no legitimate cap-bypass. "Token generator" sites and browser exploits violate Blooket's terms of service and risk an account ban. The 500/day plus ~47 wheel = ~547 tokens/day ceiling is the planning baseline for every chase budget.
Token-per-pack ROI by pack
Each pack has an expected resell value, the average token return from the Blooks you'll pull, scaled by their drop rates. The pack with the highest expected return per token is Breakfast, where every pull resells for at least its Common-tier base, and the Pizza Epic resells for ~30 tokens (a positive ROI on 20-token packs).
Twenty-token packs (Safari, Space, Wonderland, Medieval, Bot, Breakfast) are 25% cheaper per opening than 25-token packs (Aquatic, Dino, Lunch, Pirate, Outback, Bug, Ice Monster). Factor that into any chase calculation, a 0.3% Legendary in a 20-token pack is meaningfully cheaper to chase than a 0.3% Legendary in a 25-token pack, even though the per-pack chance is identical.
If you only care about Common-through-Epic resell ROI (not rare chases), Breakfast is the highest expected resell value per token. If you care about a specific rare, the math is goal-specific, use the chance calculator with the target's drop rate and the source pack's cost.
Common misconceptions
"Tokens have a daily reset." No. Tokens you earn are kept; the cap is a per-hour throttle on earning, not a reset on your balance.
"Spending more tokens at once gives better odds." No. There is no bulk-pack mechanic in Blooket. Opening 100 packs in a row rolls 100 independent draws, identical to opening 100 packs across 100 days.
"Selling Blooks gives you back what you paid for the pack." Almost never. Resell value is well below pack cost for the rare Blooks (a Legendary that cost ~100 packs to chase resells for 200–360 tokens). Resell ROI works only at the Common / Uncommon / Epic tier, not at the chase tier.
Frequently asked questions
What are Blooket tokens used for?
Tokens are the only currency in the Market. You spend them to buy Packs, which roll random Blooks against published drop rates.
How do I earn tokens fast in Blooket?
Tower Defense 2 is the fastest AFK farm; Cafe and Factory are best for active play. Daily Wheel adds 30–50 tokens per spin. Selling unwanted Blooks back to the game adds steady passive income.
Is there a token cap in Blooket?
Yes. Gameplay-earned tokens are capped at 500 per day total, summed across every mode, and the cap resets at local midnight. The Daily Wheel pays roughly 47 tokens on top of the cap (it is not subject to the 500-token ceiling), bringing the realistic daily ceiling to about 547 tokens.
How much does a Blooket pack cost?
20 tokens for Safari, Space, Wonderland, Medieval, Bot, Breakfast. 25 tokens for Aquatic, Dino, Lunch, Pirate, Outback, Bug, Ice Monster.
Can I trade tokens between accounts?
No. Tokens are bound to your Blooket account. There is no peer-to-peer transfer mechanism.
What's the most efficient way to spend tokens?
Goal-dependent. Medieval Pack is cheapest per Legendary chase. Ice Monster Pack is cheapest per Chroma chase. Breakfast is best for resell ROI.

A Pack is a token-priced loot box in the Blooket Market. Open one to receive exactly one random Blook, with drop rates determined by the pack's rarity table.
A Legendary is the second-rarest Blook tier in Blooket, rarer than Epic, more common than Chroma, with drop rates between 0.2% and 1% per pack.
A Chroma is the rarest obtainable Blook tier in Blooket. Per-pack drop rates sit between 0.01% and 0.08%, and only specific market packs contain one.
